GREATEST NEMESIS!
IT'S ME

Greetings once again, foolish ones! First off, I apologize for the homepage. I know I sound like some kind of cartoon supervillain, but I promise I'm not. I'm just a loser who makes pixel art. Anyway, hi again! I'm Yosos the Pumpkin, though most people just call me Yosos, and I'm a pixel artist and pixel animator, and I'm currently 21 years old (as of writing this). I learned pixel art from an old friend who worked in indie game development back in late 2017 to early 2018. She introduced me to it and got me hooked up. Nonetheless, pixel art wasn't really my first passion. My original passion was Rubber Hose-style animation, especially the works of Disney and Fleischer Studios. You can see those influences in the way I animate today since I don't really do much normal anatomy movement. I also take inspiration from a variety of pixel-art games, both from my childhood and from more recent years. Some of my inspirations include Super Mario Bros., Kirby's Adventure, River City Ransom, and EarthBound, along with the "New" titles such as Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game, Undertale, Deltarune, and Yume Nikki, among many others.I use Aseprite as my main software and have been working with it for several years now, but I do use other software to make my work look "Cool or Rad" or whatever kids are saying. These days, I'm not always as active as I'd like to be because I'm currently a university student pursuing a degree in Nursing. Because of that, some projects can take a while to finish. I'm a self-taught artist, and I typically complete my work anywhere from a week to 3 months, depending on the canvas size, animation complexity, number of frames, color count, and how much free time I have available.People often describe my work as bouncy, smooth, fluid, and mesmerizing. Some have even called it "eye candy." Personally, I'm usually my own biggest critic and see it as soulless like myself. But I'm always trying to improve and learn something new with every project. If you'd like to contact me for any collaboration, request, art trade, commission, or even just a love of GOD normal conversation, you can reach me through:
